What fools we mere bloggers be

"A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back." Proverbs 29:11

I wonder if we might need to call ourselves fools in this Blogger/MySpace/Facebook culture of today. We claim transparency as a great virtue -- but so is discretion and knowing when to hold back.

Then again, are those who open their lives truly being transparent? Are they simply creating a world as they wish people to see?

Well, I go on record that Stackofstuff.net is not intended as a window into my soul. You won't read much deep and personal stuff here. I'm reminded of another verse from Proverbs, "When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent." Proverbs 10:19
